Barton Bus Bonanza

Whether you’re a former employee of Barton’s Buses, or simply have memories of catching these comfortable coaches numbered as the 14 or 54 to and from Ruddington to the City or Clifton, this FREE event is for you!

Running between 10.00am and 4pm at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre (NTHC) on Sunday 21st May 2023, organisers say the ‘Barton Bus Bonanza’ will feature both resident buses and visiting survivors of the Barton fleet – with some even offering free trips around the local countryside. They are especially encouraging anyone who worked for the company to join them.

Also open will be The Heritage Cafe, Bric-a-Brac and bus garage, whilst Ruddington Model Railway Club will be in operation. The miniature trains will be running (weather and volunteers permitting) and, for a small fee, you can take a ride on their extended track!

There’s limited onsite parking at £2.00 per car at NTHC Ruddington – Mere Way, NG11 6JS
